  • 1. Company Overview

A-J Truck, LLC provides professional trucking, freight transportation, and logistics services throughout California and other authorized regions. All services are performed in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including FMCSA and DOT requirements.

2. Services

Our services may include, but are not limited to:

  • Freight transportation
  • Drayage services
  • Local and regional hauling
  • Logistics support services

Service availability is subject to operational capacity, safety conditions, and regulatory compliance.

3. Pricing & Quotes

  • All quotes are estimates unless confirmed in writing.
  • Prices may change due to fuel costs, port delays, detention, layover, tolls, or customer-caused delays.
  • Additional charges may apply for special handling or inaccurate shipment details.

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment terms are Net 15 / Net 30, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Late payments may incur interest up to the maximum allowed by law.
  • Non-payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
  • Client is responsible for collection and legal fees if applicable.

5. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate shipment information
  • Ensure cargo is properly packaged and lawful
  • Comply with weight, safety, and hazardous material regulations
  • Indemnify A-J Truck, LLC for damages caused by incorrect or unlawful shipments

6. Cargo Liability

Liability is limited as permitted under the Carmack Amendment (49 U.S.C. §14706) unless otherwise agreed in writing.

We are not responsible for delays or damages caused by:

  • Acts of God
  • Weather conditions
  • Port authority actions
  • Government inspections
  • Force majeure events

All claims must be submitted in writing within a reasonable time after delivery.

7. Insurance

A-J Truck, LLC maintains required commercial auto and cargo insurance in accordance with federal and state law. Proof of insurance is available upon request.

8. Independent Contractor

A-J Truck, LLC operates as an independent contractor. Nothing herein creates a partnership, joint venture, or agency relationship.

9. Confidentiality

All non-public business, pricing, and operational information shared between parties shall remain confidential.

10. Termination of Service

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate services due to:

  • Non-payment
  • Unsafe or illegal cargo
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Regulatory compliance issues

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.

12. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
